Family Pictures

We just about procrastinated long enough to miss all the fall colors, but thankfully Kim was kind enough and talented to take our family pictures. We think she did an amazing job. Thanks Kim for the great job!!!

Hogle Zoo 2010

To celebrate Camilles birthday, we decided to take her to the zoo for the day. It was so much fun, we forgot the stroller(which is useful to contain her), but she was really good and stayed right with us. We took Dennis and Connie along with us and Camille loved having Grandma and Grandpa their to share her special day. She says her favorite animal was the baby elephant, but I think it was the birds she fed her french fries to at lunch!

Manti Bowhunt 2010

Though the hunting was unsuccessful, it was alot more fun this year. We seen more deer and more big bucks than I have seen in the past few years. I enjoy this time, just to be with family. We took Cami on the longest four wheeler ride ever and she loved it. Although, she fell asleep half way back to camp. She is the only one I know who can sleep upright, on a four wheeler, going over bumpy roads and not wake up. Here are some more pictures of our weekend on Manti Mountain.

Manti Bowhunt 2010

This year was a fun trip to Manti, as is every other year, but I seemed to enjoy this one even more. Camille is getting to that age where she will go and play with the other kids and we can socialize a little more ourselves. I actually hunted this year and it was fun to get out and find out how out of shape I really have become!!! Camille had a blast playing with all her cousins, she especially liked the four wheeler rides from Jaxon and the buggy rides from Kim.

Glasses for Cami!!!

Camille went for a follow up with the eye doctor and found out that she will need glasses. Well, that was a week ago and yesterday Lorie went with her to pick them up. She looks so cute with them on, now she has to get used to leaving them on all the time. I keep telling her how lucky she is to get them now, that I had to wait over twenty years to get mine. I hope she will get used to having them.

Pics from Current Creek/Starvation

Summer Fun

Well it has been over six months since posting anything and so much has happened that I decided it was about time to post an update. We just returned from a family campout with the Bellows family and it was a blast. A much needed break from work, it was only the 3rd Saturday I have taken off this year. We went to Current Creek and enjoyed the beauty of the area. It is only a short drive from the cabin, but it is an area that I have not spent much time exploring. We went up Thursday evening and stayed until Saturday. The weather was a little unpredictable, afternoon thunderstorms, but other than that it was great. I did a little fishing from the float tube, something about floating in cold water that makes your bladder go into overdrive. I couldn't stay out for only a couple hours before needing to come in for a break. I caught a couple rainbows and got lots of bites. I didn't keep any, if you keep them you got to eat them!!! Saturday we decided to just head over to the cabin for the night, come to find out so were Kim, George and their friends. We headed with them to Starvation to play in the water and had a blast. Thanks Kim and George for letting us tag along. Camille had so much fun the last four days that she didn't want to go home. We had to convince her that her kitty needed her. Oh, we do have a cat now, but that story is for another post. Now we relax for a week before heading out again.
