On February 5, 2008 my mom passed away with all of her children by her side. She was a go getter from the very beginning and this disease took her physical abilities, but it never took away her ability to love and care. That was her greatest characteristic, she could show love and compassion to everyone. She tried to instill that in each of her children and I hope in some way I can find that same ability. She was an amazing woman, one whom I will always admire and look up to as a great example. I miss her and love her, but I have no doubt that she is continuing what she started here. Her funeral was a beautiful tribute to her, I was impressed on how well both Kim and Kris did in speaking. They both are a great support to me. Life is different now and we must carry on, hopefully I can make her proud.
