On September 5th & 6th I was lucky enough to go hunt antelope. I had been putting in for this hunt with my brother for quite some time and finally got lucky to draw it. It was a great hunt, almost more fun than deer. They are a different animal and extremely fast. I learned a few things from this hunt, one is don't get to excited or you won't hit anything and the other is get your gun sighted in before the hunt because opening morning is a lousy time to find out you aren't hitting anything. I enjoyed the time to spend with my brother. It seems like things get so busy and you never get to spend anytime just hanging out. It was a great time and I look forward to the next hunt.

I thought dad taught you better than to wait till opening morning to site your gun in. Congratulations on the antelope!!!
