Remembering Mom

Today is a special day for me to remember, April 8th is my moms Birthday. It is the second one we have had to celebrate without her. I have been off work today, taking care of some financial things with her house and its hard to not think of her as I write out each check from her checkbook. Camille and I had the opportunity to go this morning and pick out a flower and take it to the cemetery. I try to help Camille remember her Grandma Bracken, she was so little when she passed. It amazes me how much little ones do remember, because she will point at pictures and yell out Grandma Bracken. Children are much more spiritual and in tune to the spirit and I think she knows her Grandma is looking out for her. This afternoon we are heading down to McDonalds to have a little get together to remember her. There isn't anything better than a McDonalds Coke!!!! We love and Miss you Mom!

It is amazing the things small kids can remember and it's awesome the things your family does to keep your parents memories alive.

You mom was a very special lady!! I remember her going over to visit with you & Laura , & I would wave at her & we would meet Almost in the middle of the road & talk for hours :) She remembered alot about my mom when she was a nurse for Dr.Barrett. She touched our hearts!! She will always have a special place in our hearts!<3 With Love, Your old neighbors, Terry & Alex Williams
